Recollective Awareness Meditation is a flexible, gentle approach to Buddhist meditation that offers an authentic way to investigate your inner world. This retreat offers ways to become more aware of meditation experience, to increase discernment and exploration, and to examine various conceptual frameworks people bring to meditation. The emphasis is not so much what you do in meditation but what you experience in meditation. By recollecting meditation sittings, you awaken to the variety of experiences within meditation and naturally cultivate beneficial states of consciousness.

At this retreat there will be periods of sitting meditation, dharma talks and group discussion. New perspectives are discovered in small group and individual interviews facilitated by the teacher. Beginning and experienced meditators are welcome. Free time will be given for participants to walk, read and take time off.

Linda Modaro is a teacher with the Skillful Meditation Project and has been teaching various forms of meditation since 1987. She teaches individuals, groups, workshops and retreats devoting her time and attention to individual personal development through meditation. In addition, she maintains a private practice in Acupuncture and Herbology in Santa Monica, CA.

Simple vegetarian meals will be served. Participants will help with preparation and clean up.
Retreat begins with dinner on Friday and ends with lunch on Monday.
There is no deposit required, but payment and a firm commitment to attend when registering. A full refund will be given if one cannot attend.
