Skillfull Meditation Project

Our Teaching Sangha

The Skillful Meditation Project Teaching Sangha consists of a group of meditators who are committed to the practice, study and teaching of the approach to meditation called Recollective Awareness. We have all been trained under the direction of Jason Siff and have worked together for a number of years to develop our skills in leading meditation groups and working with individuals. Recognizing that both practice and teaching are ongoing, we have chosen to reflect this in our training process. Rather than defining an end to the training, we maintain an affiliation with SMP and are involved in continuing study with one another and with Jason and Jacquelin Siff.

As members of the SMP Teaching Sangha, we lead workshops and retreats as well as conduct classes and sitting groups in our local communities. Some of us may travel to teach in other areas. We also work with individual meditators one-to-one, arranging interviews with students by phone or in person, to explore the inner experience of meditation. We recommend an ongoing relationship with a member of our SMP Teaching Sangha as the best way to learn and develop within this meditation approach.
